Well, it's not really part 1 because I did some thumbnails for the pose. It's more like stages 2 and 3 (pencil and ink). I just wanted to post to see some progress in the next few posts. I've scanned it in and now comes the hardest step for me...color. Hopefully it works out...wish me luck. Any suggestions are welcomed =] David will make an appearance soon.

Willie, willie, willie... Every drop of ink dripping from your pen looks even better than the last. Damn man. I did a David and goliath sketch a while back. I think i'll go home and burn it now :-) Nice work man.
ha ha, I love the lower case "g" on his arm.
is it just me or does he have a G tattoo on his left arm? hahah awesome man!
awesome work
Really diggin' this. Cool shapes and great body language and expression. Can't wait to see more!
Willie your killing them out there, your brush work cleaner and clearner each time and there is so much life in this drawing, can't wait to see the finish. bye 4 now
every little bit of detail, from the skulls on the hip to the 'g' on his arm to the little bit of sweat coming off his face is so killer.
great work.

Big fan of your work, you don't post enough! Love the weight and the line work of old g. You totally smoked master Peter the dance master of pop and lock.

love your linework. it's always incredibly inspiring. and your color selection is always great... good luck with this!
Wow, man! You're work is awesome! I agree with the majority of the people here. You sure do put the clean back in 'clean line'...'cause...it wasn't there before...*ahem. I love your work! Great designs, and smooth 'animation'. Just one thing. Were you attempting to make Goliath even more of a freak of nature by giving him five toes on each foot, but only four fingers a hand? 'Cause I think it works. :) Anywho, keep up the great work!
